I am a seasoned program manager (located in the Bay Area) with over 8 years of experience in successfully managing large scale global programs such as SFA/CRM Implementations, Business Intelligence Implementations, Project Management, Business Process Re-Engineering, Training Development and Delivery, Database Management, Application Development and Application Support.

 

Most recently I have led the implementation of Salesforce.com at a public company located in the Bay Area, CA. Here are a few details of this worldwide rollout:

 

·         Implementation Details:

o       Rolled out the Enterprise Edition of SFDC to 350 users located worldwide.

o       Was responsible entirely for managing the technical as well as the business change management aspects of the project.

o       Led the entire process from Business Process Review sessions to the actual configuration, user acceptance testing and deployment of the tool.

o       Migrated historical data from a homegrown tool into SFDC and de-commissioned the home grown tool.

o       Created the training plan, the training material and delivered training to all the users across North America, EMEA and APJ.

o       Worked closely with a team of developers to develop modules in SFDC to perform functions like managing special discount pricing, managing submission of opportunities to commissions and an interface for the managers to commit their region’s opportunities to sales executive management.

SALESFORCE.COM Implementations

XML Security Provider:  2006

The company makes XML routers, accelerators, and secure gateways.

Our firm was asked to design and implement automated customer support in SALESFORCE.COM

Key areas of implementation were:

1.      Design and implement the customer support workflow

2.      Enable case-to-email support tool so that cases are automatically created within SALESFORCE.COM when a customer sends an issue via email to the customer support group

3.      Enable self-service portal so that customers can log their own cases, track resolutions, and search the knowledge base by category

Data Integration Company: 2003 –2006

The company provides data integration solutions. When it was originally founded in April 2003, Our Firm was invited to discuss the design and implementation of SALESFORCE.COM. In 2004, our Firm implemented the following:

1.      Implemented the sales and marketing organization

2.      Implemented the self-serve portal.

3.      Integrated of MS Outlook with SALESFORCE.COM so that users can continue to use Outlook and have emails copied automatically into SALESFORCE.COM

4.      Implemented Offline SALESFORCE.COM – this enables sales reps on the road who can’t find Internet connection to continue to use SALESFORCE.COM, and later synchronize the updated data with the live SALESFORCE.COM database

5.      Standardized data importation from outside leads vendors, so that all entries into SALESFORCE.COM are guaranteed to be unique and of minimal qualification

Educational Software Company: 2005

Company makes educational software targeting public k-12 school districts.

The company was using a number of databases to track and manage leads. Our Firm was asked to design and implement SALESFORCE.COM for sales and marketing automation.

After that, Our Firm cleaned and imported over 60,000 customer and lead records into SALESFORCE.COM for the client.

Blackberry 3-party Developer: 2003 – 2004

Company is a third party tool vendor for the Blackberry wireless handheld devices.

Our Firm designed and implemented its sales and marketing automation within SALESFORCE.COM, as part of an overall sales and marketing consulting project.

Enterprise Application  Integration Software: 2002 - 2003

The company provides manufacturing companies with a suite of products designed to integrate the results of a number of applications into one coherent view, such as ERP, CAD systems, and the like.

In mid 2002, Our Firm was invited to design their leads generation and qualification processes. At the time, the company was primarily using spreadsheets and DB2 to track leads. Our Firm introduced SALESFORCE.COM, designed and implemented it.
