Business Application Manager - Freeman

Freeman is seeking a proven leader to serve as our Business Application Manager. This person will be responsible for managing and overseeing the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application, Salesforce.com (SFDC). A major priority will be coordinating the activities with SFDC of all Freeman's sales organizations, to provide corporate reporting on performance and productivity metrics. This person will provide training, administrative, analytical and operational sales support to internal clients. This position will report to a Sales Executive, and works with individual administrators for the separate business units. Responsibilities will be both tactical and strategic in nature.

General Job Description:

  • Identify opportunities to enhance business reporting using CRM application, develop consensus for those changes, and drive those enhancements across the organization
  • Communicate standard concepts, best practices, and procedures to the organization
  • Provide leadership in maximizing the capabilities and functionality of the system across all business units
  • Conduct regular review sessions among both users and executives on the use of the application
  • Supervise training and support - both to new and existing database licensees across the organization - principally conducted by individual business unit administrators
  • Maintain data integrity on a consistent level to mine and target strategic areas of interest
  • Create, analyze and recommend actions based on trends within key performance indicators
  • Develop and distribute sales reports to provide valuable insight to business leaders across the organization
  • Provide recurring analysis and evaluation of the internal workflow processes
  • Develop ongoing requirements to support strategic outlook
  • Maintain awareness of all new products, features and upgrades to the application
  • Collaborate with Marketing department regarding all database related needs and initiatives
  • Provide progress reports for end user adoption analysis and any necessary recommendations
  • Ensure consistency of database language and lexicon throughout all verbal and written communications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Minimum of five (5) years related experience in a Sales or Marketing Administration role
  • Must possess extensive knowledge and experience using Salesforce.com or other SFA/CRM equivalent
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret data and/or financial information
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Maintain a high level of internal customer satisfaction
  • Experience in organizations with multiple business units and CRM constituencies a strong plus
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of internal clients
  • Strong candidates will possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills


Work Schedule:

Business hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Business hours may extend into nights and weekends as business dictates.
