is it possible to write 1000 values in dependent pick list?

hi,

plz any one clear my doubt

for example

i have 2 picklists.contrty is controlling pickist and state isdependent pick .i am having 100 countries and each country is having 10 sates .so here total 1000 values for state pick list .

Hi sunitha,

Dependent pick list can have only 300 values this is the limit from salesforce. you cant store thousand values in a dependent picklist.

you can reach out to salesforce and ask if they can increase this limit for your org.

Else you will have to build your own custom dependent picklist using a VF page and custom code
