Help Regarding Reports

Can anyone help me with the different king of reports in sfdc and steps to create those reports.... i want help with summary and matrix report.

Personally I always suggest studying the Analytics Workbook because it gives a very good insight of all Analytics features and mixes theory and practice (consider at least a couple of hours):
