VPN and salesforce

Hi,

We got this situation:

Salesforce>VPN>webservice distant.

For now I can connect to a webservice, did salesforce can connect to a webservice behind a VPN ?

Or salesforce can connect to the VPN and consume the web service ?

THanks for help !

I dont think salesforce can tunnel through a VPN. For this I guess you have to have a web exposed Webservice /Endpoint which will redirect you to your internal webservice.

Hi Ashish_SFDC,

I had already find this topic before posting and in my case the solution was irelevant because it's not for a DB usage but an external application.

Thanks

Salesforce did manage it or not ?

There is not documentation... so how connect to VPN via Apex to access a WEB Service ?

Thanks
