How to add values in picklist programatically

Hi,

How can i add new values in picklist using office toolkit? I can read the values but i want to add new values in it.

A meta data api is on the roadmap that will allow salesforce configuration changes via the api.

 

However, until it is officially announced you should not plan on using it.

 

So, you'll have to login to the salesforce online application to change your picklist values.

 How t o add picklist to the object using metadata api ....can u please tell me the methods to add picklist ....
