how to import back into SFDC a quote generated by Mail merge?

Hey guys,

 

I am new in this section (an old customer of SFDC...:smileyhappy:)

 

I would like to implement for my sales \ marketing team the ability to use the mail merge to generate a quote from an opportunity, and then save it back into the opportunity that it was created for.

 

I don't want to save it locally on the local computer and then upload it as an attachment - is there  any way that I will have it automatically upload to the opportunity with a single click ? maybe to develop something that will call to the API and upload it to th place it was created from ?
