custom object's tab names translation

Hi,

we need to change the custom tab names to some other languages like spanish,french...

In translation workbench->translate->Setup Component  i never see any value for the tabs.

Ex: i created the student object and the corresponding  custom tab name also student,now i want to translate the student tab name to some other language.

In your shared link i found a note saying You cannot reset custom object tab names.

 

Then how can we translate the custom tab to spanish.
