Install package on producion (in another instance of salesforce)

Hi,

 

I have make package beta  managed  in developer edition of salesforce . i have install it on sandbox. its install succefully on it.

now i want to install  on production (in another insstance of salesforce). so which package i will install beta managed or released managed.?

Hi,

You need to create Managed Released Package, if want to install package into the Production Org.

Please note that, when you create a managed package then some of the components get locked. For example you can not delete a field which is part of managed released package.

so this will be applicable for both appechage as wel as in our own SFDC instance. Right??

After creating a managed package, you will get a link for that package, Enter this link into the browser & hit enter. You would start the installation process for managed package.
