Astadia is seeking Training Consultants to be responsible for client-focused training within our CRM practice.   (www.astadia.com)

Job Description

The Training Consultant will be responsible for instructing and facilitating in-person and internet based training sessions covering SFDC applications to a wide range of employee levels (end user to executive) as follows:

·         Explain concepts in an easily understandable manner

·         Create an atmosphere conducive to learning

·         Relate system concepts to “real life” situations

·         Draw out and engage participants by encouraging question and answer sessions

Responsibilities

·         Interface with our clients in consultative manner/create and maintain positive, professional client relationships

·         Gain expertise in the subject matter to be delivered and maintain expertise during periodic product updates

·         Assist in preparation of participant materials, reference materials, job aids, and handouts

·         Evaluate and monitor effectiveness of training activities and make appropriate improvements

·         Keep up to date on training and development research, learning theory, new training methods and techniques

Requirements

·         B.S. or B.A Degree, or equivalent job experience

·         2-5 years experience in system-related training delivery; SFDC exposure/exp huge plus

·         Demonstrates strong training delivery skills and excellent verbal, written and presentation/communication skills

·         Thorough working knowledge of adult learning concepts

·         Experience facilitating using virtual classroom tools and techniques

·         Experience delivering to an international audience

·         Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

·         Excellent problem solving/critical thinking skills

·         Previous experience with learning and performance management system a plus

We have an opening for a trainer in Dallas and DC.   Heavy Travel could be possible.
