Apex Explorer - Login failed:Input string....

I am trying to use Apex Explorer and when I try to login, I am getting an error.  The error message window is titled "Partner Sample" and the message is "Login failed: Input string was not in a correct format."  

 

Any ideas on what to try?

Check to login to the org with the user and password you have, if you can then check that the password in the apex explorer is in the format "password"+"security token", if this is correct then login to the org and reset the security token and try again, let me know if this works for you.

There may be problems using the Apex Explorer with the Spring '10 edition of Salesforce - probably WDSL related. Try using the SuperCell (free edition) application to help you with queries as well as displaying your Salesforce Object Descriptions. The app is located in the AppExchange or you can use this link to their website for the download:
