Workflow Approval Processs

Hi,

 

Can we perform other Actions other than Approve and Rejected i.e like On Hold etc.., in the Workflow Approval Processes

I am not sure whether to say 'yes' to your question. It depends on the requirement basically.

 

In approval process when you submit for approval, you can create a field update to update the Status to Submitted. If you want the status to be changed based on some time frame, say 3 days after submit, create a time based workflow rule and change the Status to On Hold.

What exactly I mean about the button's that are available for the Approver like Approve and Reject. 

Can we add one more button say On Hold so that approver can click on On Hold?

abhi_the1 is correct. As you can not able to add extra buttons other than Approve and Reject on "Approve/Reject Approval Request".
