There is no difference between statements: (a) & (e).

So the answer is :  a,e & d.  Options: a,d, e are all TRUE.

Hi,

I think option b) and d) are correct. As the question says "Which of the following statements  NOT true."

There is a master-child relationship between standard and custom object.

b) Custom object is always master : If there is standard object, then Custom object has to be child.

d)  Standard and Custom object can be a master : If you have standard and custom object, then Standard object can become Parent. Custom object can never become Parent.

This was my thinking behind this question.

Let me know if i am wrong in this case.

Thanks and Regards,

Devendra S

I would have to say:

b AND c

Rationale:

a:) If false, then e would have to be false as well which would make c wrong as well, can only pick 2 (besides, standard onjects can never be child)

b:) If True then a is false, c is false, and d is false, can only pick two (besides, this would make for a difficult use model)

c:) If true then, b is false, d is false. This could be right but we know use case would be prohibitive...

d:) if false, then c, and e would have to be false as well.

e:) if false then a, b, and d would be false.

Rationale may be off, late at night, but.....

The only answers that make sense and in practice are correct are B and C being NOT true.

You are assuming the answer is talking about a standard - custom relationship. What about in a custom - custom relationship, in this case custom can become parent and thus makes D true.

Hi Startz26,

Here the question speaks about standard-custom relationship. Therefore custom object can not become master.

If it is Custom-Custom relationship then , Custom object can become master.

Therefore i have selected B and D options as correct,

Hi Devendra,

Here are the right answers.

b) Custom object is always master

d) Standard and Custom object can be a master

Thanks,

Anant

b) Custom object is always master  - not true because std obj can also be master
c) Custom object is always child     - not true because custom object can also be master
