For http://SignatureCustomHomes.com, a leader in modular home construction, we reduced support costs while dramatically increasing response times and efficiency. We connected builders (customers) with design, engineering, architects, and all aspects of the construction process. Builders are able to check on the status of a build in real time. They can verify or modify options such as kitchen and bathroom appliances, flooring, roofing, etc. all in real time. Collaboration is also available on floorplans and sales collateral. Requests and issues are directed to the correct departments and individuals responsible. Respective department managers are automatically notified on outstanding issues and project progress. Responses are often instantaneous or within minutes as opposed to days.
In addition to the portal we developed the SignatureCustomHomes.com content management system (CMS) website which also connects with sfdc. Included in our solution is "Builders University" which provides online training in sales, building best practices and video training for our portal.
