Restrict Customize tabe option for users

Hi,

 

I have admin,P1 users with one profile and created two objects o1 and o2.

If I login from P1 user either I need to delete the customize tab option or i need to restrict to create the o2 object from tab.

 

Is there any option to set in Profiles...

Please suggest.....

Gen,

 

I understand that the both Admin and P1 users have the same profile but this is something I would not suggest you to go with - reason being all P1 users will have access to customize the ORG (Setup option) which is not advisible.

 

 

Could you explain me your use case - the reason why all P1 users need admin  profile?

Basically we have one license to create upto 20 users.

Basing on that we have created one profile.

Next we created users with that profile.

 

Now from that users(eg. p1) if we try to customize one object we can able to do that.

But we need to get Insufficient Privileges like that.

 

I tried like 1. default tab off.

2. Tried to override the New button to print Insufficient Privileges. but unable to get the result.

Hi Gen,

 

If the P1 users are not supposed to create records in Object that you have created - you should edit the Profile you created and remove the "Create" permission of that Object so these users will not see the NEW button.
