We are a leading provider of nonprofit CRM consulting services for Salesforce.com.

 

Acutedge is looking for a Part-time Salesforce Consultant to assist with current and future projects. This is a client facing role with both analyst (70%) and developer (30%) competencies that may turn into a full time position for the right candidate.

 

Candidate must reside in US.

 

Role:

 

• Advise Acutedge's business and nonprofit customers on Salesforce.com best practices and solutions including native and third party components
• Effectively capture new business requirements and translate  into technical design
• Assist in developing project scope, design documents, customizing application and providing training
• Troubleshoot application in a production environment
• Build custom applications on Force.com platform from conceptualization to final product
• Provide ongoing post-implementation support to existing customers

 

Must haves -

 

• Salesforce Developer and/or Administrator Certification
• Prior experience in a consulting role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

Experience and Skills-

 

• 3-5 years experience in an IT/Software Development role.

 

• 2 or more years hands-on experience with Salesforce.com / Force.com platform, preferably working as a consultant

 

• Knowledge of at least 3 of the below listed Salesforce Applications
  1. Sales
  2. Marketing
  3. Customer and Partner Portals
  4. Service
  5. Call Center

 

• Knowledge of Apex Classes, Apex Triggers, Visualforce, API, Force.com Sites

 

• Hands-on experience with all aspects of Salesforce setup - Fields, Page Layouts, Record Types, Search Layouts, Assignment Rules, Formulae, Workflows, Custom Objects, Security Controls, Profiles, User Administration, AppExchange, Business Processes, Reports and Dashboards.

 

• Knowledge of Data Migration and ETL tools such as Data Loader and Excel Connector

 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or related technical field.
