Can't access sites setput page

I now have a free developer account and I have registered a domain name which has successfully propagated through DNS.

However, when I now log in, I click setup>create>sites and I only get the option to check availablity and register a new domain.  So how do I access the page which allows me to setup the domain (site) that I already have?

I seem to have resolved this by applying for the same domain again.  Somehow it says the domain is still available (despite salesforce having previously propagated the DNS and sent me an email to that effect), and I now can edit the domain setup.

I don't know if this is normal behaviour, but it seems odd to me.

FYI - I had the same problem. The site was created after resending the same request.
