Help creating a custom button to generate a PDF and send it as an attachement in email

Hello,

 

I was wondering if somebody can help us to set up a custom button that will allow us to generate a PDF and send it as attachment by email. We have salesforce professional edition.

Hi Felicia,

 We already have a custom solution to deliver this feature for you. Our solution would be a custom apex class which would prepopulate a pdf and update the data and allow you to send an email as well.  Please contact us at 302-355-0449 to discuss further.

Hi Felicia,

 

As your edition is Professional, there wont be API available. So you are left with 2 options, either to buy API or to build this logic using VF pages and Javascript.
