I would like to know how many custom fields can be created on an object in an professional edition?

Hello,

 

You can create 100 custom fields per object in Professional edition.

Hi Sapthagiri,

 

The limitation of custom field creation in professional editions are,

 

20 custom fields

25 Relationship fields

10 Rollup summary fields

In professional  edition we can create maximum 100 custom field on an object.
