dfc777 Exporting SalesForce Application Objects
Hi --
I have created and uploaded a custom application/package consisting of s-controls, custom objects, additional fields for standard objects, etc. Is there any way to export all of this data into a file external to SalesForce for archiving or source management purposes? The file would contain any and all additions to the base SalesForce product that the application contains.

SF has a feature called DOT. This would take the the entire copy of the system from configuration to Data using that you can create a new system the exact copy. Its like cloning the system. But this is avaialble to partners and only specific clients. You can reach out to them. BTW if you go to setup under Data Magement if you see "Export to DOT" then you already have it. Check it.
