Install Failed error shown when I tried to install customized package

Hi,
 
I tried to install own package into my development Account.
The link for the app is Link
 
But got an error in the end as shown below.


"Install Failed"

"Your requested install failed. Please try this again."

"None of the data or setup information in your Salesforce organization should have been affected by this error."

"If this error persists, contact Support through your normal channels and reference number: 1632158128-107 (518307125)"

Can anybody clarify this issue?

Please log a case here: www.appexchange.com/support and post the case number.
 
We are aware of some packaging issues, so that may be the culprit.

I'm seeing the same error, specifically related to upgrading DE orgs with a previous version of the package installed.

  • I can install fine into a production Enterprise Edition account (I've tried in two different accounts -- one upgrade and one new instllation; both installs succeeded)
  • New installations into Developer Edition accounts succeed.
  • Upgrading a DE org always fails

The package is a brand-new Winter '09 upload of an existing package.

Error Message:
Your requested install failed. Please try this again.

None of the data or setup information in your Salesforce organization should have been affected by this error.

If this error persists, contact Support through your normal channels and reference number: 661817404-16463 (746272834)

I logged a case about this too: Case #02195639
