Do we require Security Review for Private Application (Composite Application)

Hi,

 

We have a application built in Asp.Net which we are planning to display inside salesforce in Tab.

do we require to do Security Review for this application if keep it private and do not Publish it on Appexchange?

 

 

Any help will be appreciated ..

Post you question in security area you will get response As per my experience  it is requried.confrom from security review team.

No, you do not have to do a security review for that if you are not planning on making it public on the AppExchange.

Do we require to create listing even if we want to share URL privately?

list it in appExchange and keep it as private..e if you want use LMA .otherwise you can ditribute URL itself with out going appexchange.

 

If you are not listed integrated wiht LMA you may face some maintains issue.post this as separate theread.

Yes, Gopi is correct. If you only want to share the URL privately and don't care about license management at all, you don't have to create an AppExchange listing. In fact, you don't have to come to the AppExchange at all. From within your Developer Edition organization, you can upload a package. After this process completes, you will get an install URL. You can share this with other people to install privately.

 

If you do care about license management, you'll have to go to the AppExchange. Login using your Developer Edition organization and find your uploaded package. Click the Manage Licenses link and follow the steps to set up default license terms for your package. You can override these default terms using the License Management Application (LMA).
