Sandbox to AppExchange Via Production Environment...

Hi all ,

 

          We have developed an application on force.com in sandbox . Our main aim is to distribute this app to our clients from AppExchange or through OEM . I am trying to deploy this app from sandbox to production environment . what will be the process after that to reach App Exchange ? what role the package play in the process and during app distribution to the clients ?

I recommend reading these guides:

(a) ISVForce Guide

(b) Releasing an Application

 

The key vehicle will be a managed package which can only be initiated from a Developer Edition environment. From there, you can upload to the Appexchange and possibly distribute through the OEM model. Also, please note that you must pass a security review before you can distribute your application.
