Batya Generating Reports on cumulative data
Hi everyone,
My organization needs to run reports on how many donors have given X amount of dollars over their donor lifetimes. So far as I understand, Salesforce can only run reports on individual payments, not lifetime payments. How would I run reports on cumulative data?

If I understnd the requirement correctly,
Maybe try a Summary report type and summarize by Donor might work.
Another option might be to look at Rollup Summary fields - depending on where you capture the donation data. You could then run a report including the Rollup Summary field and set the report criteria to whater X amount you want.
