Auto-Fill Fields from Opportunity to Project

Dear All,

The Sales Team is tracking opportunities. We are now implementing project management and have a custom object "Projects." A project is always related to an opprotunity, and they share the same Project Name. Is there a way to auto fill fields when you create a new Project with information from the Opportunity?

Any help would be great. Thanks!

Here is a solution
in FIREFOX - download Developer Addon
in salesforce.com
Create a Button and place it on the Opt Page
Then create the link for the button:
go to custom object home page - select NEW
- select the FORMS - View Form Information
select the page identity & create a map of the element names to the related opt. field
This will pull over the opt fields into your new object.
