Hi,
Is there any way to lock or make it read only a record based on an activity.
For example I would like to lock/make the record read only the Job Application record for all users after an activity is completed.

I want to lock the records but i donnot know how it will possible Please send me the solution how i can lock records

You can use approval processes to lock a record (see Setup > Create > Workflow & Approvals > Approval Processes). If you need to lock it semi-automatically, you may use an Apex Trigger to cause the record to be submitted for approval.
