Total Price > Not available for use in formulas for custom fields?

I am not finding Total Price available to me when I try to create a formula in a custom field. Anyone know why?

Jenell_L, Total Price is available when creating a custom field for Opportunity Products. 

Opportunity Product fields such as Total Price are not available when creating a custom field for Opportunities because an Opportunity can have more than one Opportunity Product.
