jduhls Workflow Task and Task Record Type
We have a workflow rule that assigns a workflow task. The issue is, we have multiple task "record types". It is not explicit how the workflow task chooses the "task record type" - can anyone explain to me how this works and how to change the "task record type" that the workflow task chooses. It just happens to choose the wrong one and it's a bit annoying.
CRMGeneralistEach user profile has what Record Types they can have access too and they also have a default record type so I am assuming when it creates the task it is assigning their default record type. I would consider changing their default record type to the one you need for your workflow, however if you have another workflow using the other record type then that may pose a problem.
