Do Custom Settings Objects count against the 10 object free edition limit?

Hi :)

 

I was wondering if anyone knows if Custom Settings objects count agains the 10 object free edition limit.

Hi Scott,

I have the same question for the One-App edition. I assume it does not count as a custom object..

 

You can't allow/block access to custom settings in the profile administration so that would mean that any custom setting you create (whether used by the users or not) is an extra 'custom object'. That would be just ridiculous.

 

Any Salesforce official that can confirm this?

Custom settings are a type of custom object and each custom setting counts against the total number of custom objects available for your organization.
