How to Populate corresponding field based on lookup value?

I have created a lookup on Opportunity name. I want whenever I select
"Opportunity Name" from lookup, the corresponding values should automatically display under "Lead Source, Forecast Category and Description" Columns to populate these field using cross reference formula ? Any other idea?

 

 

Opportunity Name                Lead Source        Forecast Category                      Description

==================================================================

                                           Picklist Field            Picklist                             Field Text

If you create new custom fields on the object and select Formula as the datatype.  The Formula Builder has an Insert Field button that will allow you to navigate to the Opportunity object through the Opportunity> lookup failed and reference the fields you need to display on the custom object.
