Look up fields are not visible in Work flow rule -> Criteria section -> Field drop down

I have created workflow rule for one of my object, and I want to specify a "lookup field" in the "Rule Criteria" section. But no look up fields are visible in the drop down. How can I achieve this.


Plz any one suggest me.

The "criteria are met" fields only include the object itself, current user, and any master object fields if the object is the child in a master-detail relationship and for certain "standard-to-standard" object relationships


You can do it through the formula engine if you change the criteria to "formula evaluates to true" and reference the lookup that way.
