Disabling picklist value which is selected once

i need to disable the picklist value which is once selected

Hi Unify, 

 

We cannot disable a picklist valie that is already used and in saved records, however we can replace it.

Can you clarify your question a bit more? Are you asking:

 

  1. How do you remove a value from the options available in a picklist so that no one can select it anymore?
  2. How do you stop someone changing the value of a field (which is a picklist) once they have made an initial selection?
