data type

there is roll up summary data type in salesforce.....

currently i am not able to select this data type as it is disabled.....

how can it be enabled......

what shld i do for it

Roll-Up Summary fields are only available with specific objects only.

You have to create first master Detail relationship with any object and try to make field in parent object it will be enable.

the main use of these field is:-  count, Min, Max  of the chield object ...ok
