Picklist

I have created a picklist for my custom object.

The custom object has 3 record Types with different layout.

From this pick list which is der in the object few values are displayed in each recordtype layout.

how do i do dat....

select the record type and edit the picklist values...i.e what are all the values that you want for the first record type place it and remove the remaining......do the same for all the 3 record types
