About the visual force tab

hi........I just add a visualforce tab to my new  custom application.............I need the code for setting functionality for that tab..............any one gave suggestion..............

You don't need any code, Visualforce tab will add a Tab which will open a Visualforce Page which you have selected for this tab.

1)Just create a VFP 

2)Create a Tab which and Set Your VFP in Visualforce page picklist that you see. FIll other req things like tabstype etc.

and Save

If you have created a visualforce tab that means you have added a visualforce page while create the tab. Now what exactly you want to do?

 

If you want to edit that page then go to the visualforce page edit it and changes will be reflected on tab automatically. We don't need to do any change in visualforce tab once its created.

 

Let me know if you have any other thoughts.
