Need Help: Single signon Question

 

Hi,

 

we would be doing a single signon with Sales Performance management (SPM) tool. User's logged into SFDC should also be able to login to SPM system as well. The SPM would be a tab in SFDC.(Should this be a visualforce tab??)

Can any one guide (steps involved like where to start) me the process how this can be accomplished.

It looks like you were using the wrong parameters:

 

https://www.synygy.com/prod/SingleSignOn/Salesforce.ashx?sessionid={!API.Partner_Server_URL_70}&url=&returnurl={!URLENCODE(%27/Prod/CustomPage/View.aspx?id=876284%27)}

 

This should be:

 

https://www.synygy.com/prod/SingleSignOn/Salesforce.ashx?sessionid={!API.Session_ID}&url={!API.Partner_Server_URL_70}&returnurl={!URLENCODE(%27/Prod/CustomPage/View.aspx?id=876284%27)}

 

Try this and let me know if that works for you.

Apparently, they already have a solution released, so you should ask Callidus Software for the package you need to install. I seem to see a lot of media coverage in regards to the release of this application, but no mention on the AppExchange, and no link to the AppExchange to install the package, so you'll need to contact them directly to get the appropriate installation package.

Thanks for taking  time to reply. we are using a different vendor, called synygy. they do not have an appexchange app.

I tried creating a webtab with the below url, it did not work. so my question is how can i create a tab provided we have single signon enabled..

https://www.synygy.com/prod/SingleSignOn/Salesforce.ashx?sessionid={!API.Partner_Server_URL_70}&url=&returnurl={!URLENCODE('/Prod/CustomPage/View.aspx?id=876284')}

 

To be specific i need a starting point where to start and how to go about it.

Any pointers would be of great help.
