Imbound Email Service To Catch Email Alert From Workflow
Hi All,
I'm trying to log certain emails that have been sent via a wroflow. I have created the email service and tested it and it works. I have also the workflow email working correctly (ie have it cc the email to my regualr email account). However in running the debug log monitor the inbound service does not get fired. The monitoring shows the workflow firing and the emails getting sent to both my email address and the inbound email service (which has the domain salesforce.com approved) but the inbound service does not get fired. Is there something that limits the inbound email service from accepting emails from within salesforce???
Just incase anyone wants to try this out turns out that I had to uncheck the "Advanced Email Security Settings" of the inbound email service and everything worked as I thought it would.
