Conveyance Case Comment within 48 hrs of case creation

Hi

 

I need a help regarding an issue please.

 

When a case has been created and if there is no case comment on the case within 48 hours of the case creation time,an email alert should be sent to the owner of the case.

 

Is it possible to do so?

One way I can think of to achieve this would be to set a field on the record to the created date/time, have a time based workflow of that field plus 48 hours to send the mail, then have a trigger that fires when a comment is added and blanks that field.
