which certification is best in salesforce for developer.

hello friends,

 

                         i am new from salesforce, i plane to  study developer so which one is best for my careear DEV 401 or DEV 501...?

Hi,

 

Salesforce.com offers a bunch of certifcations for users:

 

DEV-401( Developer): This is good for beginners as you will get to know about architecture of Force.com, multitenancy and basic of Force.com including apex and visualforce pages. This exam has single round-MCQ test

 

DEV-501( Advanced Developer) : You can give this certification only if you hold the credential of DEV-401. This basically deals with advanced topis of Apex Classes, Database, Visualforce pages, custom controllers, controller extensions, triggers in detail, anonymous block, apex job scheduler, etc. This exam has 3 rounds: 1st-MCQ test, 2nd-Programming assessment, 3rd-Essay Writing on programming assessment.

 

Technical Architect: You can give this only if you hold DEV-401 or DEV-501 credential. This is most valuable certification as very few people appear for this.
