Save error: Not available for deploy for this organization

All of a sudden this afternoon, I am getting this message (as are 2 other developers) trying to save an APEX Class in Eclipse.  Has anyone encountered this before?  Any work-around?

This can occur if the user doing the deployment does not have the appropriate permissions (at a minimum "API Enabled" and "Modify All Data"), or perhaps if there's a version mis-match between the two orgs you're deploying between.
