Changeset to send Label changes

Hello Board,

 

I am working in Sandbox where I have installed the managed package application. I have changed the field labels using Transalation Workbench option.

 

Now I would like to send these label changes into the Production Org.

 

How can I send these label changes using "ChangeSets"?

 

Is there any other way to send these label changes from Sandbox to Production Org?

Hi,

 

Yes you can send the label changes to Production using changeSets.

 

1. Go to Deployment Connections

2. Select OutboundChangesets.

3. Create a Changeset.

4. Select the Add Button's and in that select the custom field's option and select all the field's you will need to deploy to Production.

 

Deploy the changeset in Production and you will be able to see the label changes for the field in Production .

 

OR

 

You can edit the Meta-Data file and deploy it to Production.

The fields belongs to managed package application and I am looking to change labels of those fields from Sandbox--> Changesets.

 

I will try both the options. But I want to do it using Changesets.

Just curious if the export import translation will not work in this case ?
