trigger on related object field

hi,

  i need to write trigger on position object

  the position object contains check box Travel Required

  and  Job Application object contains status field

  when i checked the Travel Required check box the trigger should be fired so that status field in Job Application should be changed to Rejected

          

 

 

               can anyone help me pls

Hi,

 

You didn’t mentioned what is the relation between those 2 objects.

Is your scenario is like whenever check box is checked in Position record, do you want to change all the records of Job Application status to Rejected..?

 

Normally it will not be like that, please specify the relation between 2 objects and modify the question and post it.

 

One more Question: are you doing Recruiting Application in Force.com Fundamental Book..?
