Access mobile camera VF page

Hi,

 

I want to access mobile camera from salesforce VF page to capture photo and save it in salesforce object.

 

Please help me. Thanks in advance.

You'll need to create a hybrid application using phonegap for this - the native functionality such as the camera isn't availble in javascript (apart from one or two android phones I believe).

Hi Bob,

       Actually I want to create VF page such that, laptop/ Mobile/ Tablet user can access respective camera of their devices to capture photo.

 

I am able to do this for laptops/ computers with camera, using the flash player. But the mobile/ tablet browser does not support it.

 

Please suggest. Thank you.
