What is the pupose of custom translations.

Give me an example of custom translations.when it used and how to use  custom translations for objects

Hi,

 

Translation is used to convert salesforce org tab and labels in user specific language.

 

Follow the below steps

Goto 'Customize' > 'Tab Names and Labels' > 'Rename Tabs and Labels’, then select the language you want to translate the custom / standard object label for.  Then just find the object in the list and translate.

 

Use: When installing a managed package, to translate the labels of a custom object. It is quite complex procedure especially if there are many managed packages deployed.
