Hi ,
Let us assume that your company purchased unlimited edition.
After purchasing it,how team will start using Salesforce.i.e what you will get when you purchase it from salesforce is it only username and password, with that your administror will login in to salesforce?
How your team(developers) will login into newly purchased salesforce?
How your customers and your team members will use your sales cloud?
Here what i mean,once company purchases,what are the sequence tasks will be done your team and administrator to bring it live.
Please explain me these doubts.
You'll need to set up users for everyone in your team to allow them to login. Customers wouldn't be able to use the sales cloud - they can only use the customer portal assuming you have purchased licenses.
The sales cloud functionality works out of the box - you can start adding leads, accounts, opportunities etc. If the fields you need to store against these records aren't standard you'd then create custom fields. There's loads more to this in terms of automation, analytics etc.
