Formula field value in before update trigger

Hi, 

 

I write a trigger on before update and I am comparing old and new value of one formula field.that was working fine

after some time in trigger new formula field value is not coming. I am very confused, why that work first time 

is there any condition in SFDC. for getting formula field in before trigger. or it is total random

please help me.
