Issues while login through Eclipse 3.6 Helios for 64 bit OS

Hello ,

 

I have installed Eclipse 3.6 Helios for my 64 bit OS.

 

Also I have successfully installed the plugins for force.com.

 

I am not able to log in with my password and security token. as it gives a message that Invalid Username,password,security token.

 

Is this the common issue with 64 bit OS ? I am not able to understand why its happening.

I tried the same earlier with Eclipse  JUNO 4.2 (64 bit OS)  but the login issue persists.

 

Please help.

Hope you checked the Environment i.e Producion or Sandbox!

 

Can you please double check the login history for the use you are using to login ? Is there any message!

yes crmtech21..  I checked it already ..its my developer org. i.e. its production. NOT a sandbox.

 

Also I checked my login history.. There is a log in the status column - " Invalid password  "

Seems like something wrong with your password.

 

Did you passed security token along with password as well?

 

If not, please try using password and security token.

Yes.. I tried .. "myPasswordXXXXXXX" as they have suggested.
