Need help to find Workflow Rules and Workflow Action on a particular Object

Hii everybody ,

 

I am having a requirement to bring the list of Workflow rules and its actions defined on a particular Object into controller .But i was not found any object which saves the workflow rules.Can you share your ideas ,how to achieve my requirement.

Workflow rules and actions are part of the metadata API which isn't supported by Apex.

 

There is a library from financial force that allows you to consume this API via Apex at: 

 

https://github.com/financialforcedev/apex-mdapi

 

but bear in mind this is not supported by Salesforce so if you hit problems you will be on your own and there's no guarantee that future changes won't break things.
