Update parent record with read only permission when there is a update in child record

Hello,

 

I have a requirement to update parent record when there is a update on child record.

 

Suppose there is a Account with "Read-Only" permission and on a Opportunity with Full-Access, when I change the status of the opportunity, I should be able to update the account record as well. 

 

Can this be achieved in any ways. Please help me in solviing this mistery.

If you have readonly permission, how come it can be updated?

What is the req? It needs to be updated even if it is readonly?

Thankx for the reply, I know this cannot happen in salesforce, but I need some workaround for it.

 

My requirement is like below.

 

I being a Salesrep say change the status of an opportunity, I need to see the updated notification on account record, but this is not possible with this sharing scenario. 

 

Pls suggest if there is an work around.
