I have a junction object linking account and contact, have a custom picklist field status on account. if account status equal to approved then the record should be shared to contact which is relation with account through junction object.
pls give me some help in writing trigger.

You have mentioned that the Accoutn record should be shared to the contact but as per Sharing rules and guidelines - records can be shared within SF users and not contacts as tnhey will not have access to salesforce.
Please let me know if I have understood your ORG setup correctly - I think I am missing something here..
An example if you can provide, will be helpful..
